Bercel is one of the gateways to the wild and beautiful landscape of the Heart of Nógrád region, which covers an area of 100km2. This natural park is divided into hills and valleys, forests and fields, small streams and ponds, where the biodiversity of flora and fauna offers the possibility to organise a wide variety of educational and experience excursions. You can admire the remains of the Pannonian prehistoric sea in the cellars of Bercel. The top of the basalt organ in Bér, the Sasbérc lookout near Buják, and the famous castle ruins in Szanda all offer a wonderful panorama.

With the horses of the Thousand Angels Riding Stables, you can test your “horse-bredness” both in the fields and in class. For those who are riding fan, you can bring a mountain bike!
